The Call to Give is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded on resilience, gratitude, and the power of community. Our journey began in 2014, following a life-changing health crisis that inspired Ian Pizarro to provide Thanksgiving meals to families in need. What started as a small act of kindness has since expanded to include year-round support, offering care packages and meals to those facing difficult times. At the heart of our mission is compassion, and we strive to make a meaningful impact—one meal, one care package, and one act of kindness at a time. Together, we can answer the call to give and bring hope to those who need it most.

Ian Pizarro – Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Ian Pizarro is the visionary leader behind The Call to Give, serving as Chief Executive Officer. With a deep passion for innovation and strategic growth, Ian drives the mission forward by setting the organization’s direction and ensuring the team stays aligned with its core values. His leadership is marked by a commitment to excellence, forward-thinking, and a genuine investment in both people and progress.
In 2014, after surviving a near-fatal aortic dissection, Ian founded The Call to Give as a personal mission to give back. A former quarterback at Weber State University, the experience profoundly reshaped his outlook and sparked a lasting desire to serve others with compassion and purpose. That Thanksgiving, Ian began delivering meals to families in need—a heartfelt gesture that soon grew into a full-fledged nonprofit. Today, The Call to Give stands as a powerful testament to his resilience, gratitude, and unwavering belief in the power of community.
Brittany Pizarro – Chief Operating Officer (COO)
As Chief Operating Officer, Brittany Pizarro plays a vital role in bringing The Call to Give’s mission to life. She oversees day-to-day operations with precision and care, ensuring that every effort runs smoothly and serves those who need it most. With exceptional organizational skills and a heart for service, Brittany has been instrumental in transforming a grassroots family effort into a thriving community movement. Her leadership is rooted in empathy, accountability, and a deep understanding of what it takes to make lasting impact.
Brian Smith – Board Member
Brian Smith brings strategic insight and leadership expertise to The Call to Give's Board of Directors. With a background in enterprise sales, business development, and retail operations, he provides guidance on long-term vision and organizational growth.
